I'm really happy with the way my throat is shaping up
Seems like those little weird sounding throat warm - up exercises reeally do work
But the more i see such lessons online the more i realize that i need a proper vocal training
A trained voice , sounds trained . It sounds sure of its range .
Im a self sustained singer....dependant on a lot of things ....and i need to get rid of those things....free up my voice....
Plus the work needed for growling....well it hasnt affected my clean voice in totality .....but it does make it difficult to sing clean right after a fully growled song......i need to work on tht
It wud be an incredible ability for a vocalist to have in his arsenal.....

well to be frank the selectors need to get their heads straight and out of their asses.....
selecting abhinav mithun ?
and ishant sharma?
cud have gone with nehra and rp singh...
but well srikant and his men are geniuses
they kick out dinesh karthik for no damn reason every now and then and bring him back if someone gets injured
change the selection panel ...
half the problems will be solved

today i am going to try and learn Turn the Page as covered by metallica ....minus the solo of course....

lets see how well i m able to do with it 

dont know why i never tried to play this song before

also i have to look for songs which have solos in the A major scale....to practice my scale.....

either that or the minor pentatonic scale....

from what i ve heard thats the best way to improve one's soloing

learn a scale

practice practice practice

and then break out of the scale by changing notes and stuff 

and then just playing a solo ....(or making one if ur upto it) from the same scale..... 

sounds simple enough right???

also im worried if i practice death growls ......(lower pitched ones)

i wonder if thats gonna screw up my clean vocals..

there are ppl who do both very well

i really need to know their secret

how to growl and sing together ....and both verry efficiently.....

Everything about the song is just brilliant and sort of defines AIC's music in a very simple way....
From the free flowing bass intro ..... to the harmony of jerry and layne's voices.......and the amazingly haunting outro.....
I just feel this part of the lyrics ....written by jerry .....defines the melancholy feeling of this song....reaches out to you in layne's pain-laden voice...

like i have been saving em up for today...

i havent
dont know what made me suddenly decide on writing a blog
i really dont know

probably the fact that i dont have anything worthwhile to do
could be one of the reasons
probably the fact that i have so much stuff inside my head that i should put some aside somewhere...
to free up memory (a bad pun very much intended)

or probably the fact that i shouldn't waste all these thoughts by letting em rot
